Great looking pics. What are you doing for lighting your shots? (flash, tank lighting, external light...)
awesome pictures... do you use the manual focus? or just let the camera do it... ive always had trouble with the manual as things turn out to look more blury in the picture than they did in the frame before teh shot...
any info on how you took those pics would be apretiated :dive2:

The tank is a 75gallon with Tropheus moorii Murago and T. sp. black Bemba. Its filtered with a Fluval 404 (new), Magnum 320 (new), Emperor 400, and 2 Aquaclear 70s.

Im using two SB-800s...one on the cam, and one wireless over the tank.

Yes, I use manual focus. It takes some practice, but eventually you get it figured out :) These were shot in RAW, ISO 100, and the shutter speed at 1/160 at F/5

I have them labeled in the original post (the top 3 are T. sp. Black Bemba and the last is T. moorii Murago).

it may be diffrrent for his nikon but on my canon the autofocus for the sigma 105 exdg macro was as slow as a 90 year old that lost thier walker. but dont get me wrong its an AWSOME lens just it has such a long focal range it takes forever for it to auto focus.
dont bother taking classes you can learn as much off a good forum.
just look for a good dslr . people will fight like cats and dogs over whats better nikon or canon truth is they are both great and it all coems down to the individual.
oh and sorry bout earlier guy i didnt see the lables but if i told you my glasses perscrition you would understand.

The Sigma is pretty slow to autofocus...at least way too slow for fish pics.
Heres another pic...
