Bubble tip questions

Fed my Bubble tip anemone last night and found the food sitting next to him this morning. Also it has a slight bulge on its red base i guess i cant tell if its the start of a new tenticle or if it is abnormal. I fed it half a silverside and the bta is a juvenile. The food may have not been completely thawed when i fed it to him. Does anyone think i have a problem or is this just how they digest food. also is a half a silverside way to much food or just right? Should it be completely thawed?

thx in advance

ps my coral banded shrimp is constantly around it. Yesterday when i fed the anemone it went over and climbed up on it and started going after the end of fish that was sticking out of the bta's mouth. Is the juvie bta's sting to weak to do anything or do they have a sting at all?

still responsive - the tank probably 15 months established and i've check the parameters and it all checked out.

Ive had it going on my 3rd day now too.

Your anemone may have evacuated the piece because it was too large. This can actually damage or kill the anemone.

hmmm interesting take - anywho I had to work all day and after a day of it being under the light it seems as though it perked up. I was wondering should i be feeding this guy a portion of a silverside or should i just feed him brine shrimp while its a juvie. I think that i will try feeding it 1/4 of a silverside

I haven't been able to find a real solid website for anemones. Can anyone direct me towards a site that has helped them ??? thx

regards

Throughout others and books you can learn a great deal. If the lighting is inadequate for the Entacmaea Quadricolor you should feed more for the compisation. There are different techniques encompassing the hobby so you will hear negating opinions on organism nourishment.
