Ok, got a young pair of oscars for my 110 a week or so ago, and I have NEVER had a fish with this much personality! These guys are a hoot! They're already eating right from my hand! here's a couple of not-so-great pics of them and the tank.

wow-where did you get them...how much were they, just asking, but can you feed them live food at that age? :o (sorry for asking so many questions)

got them at my LFS for $11 each. I'm feeding them cichlid food (flakes and pellets) , freeze-dried shrimp as a treat (that's what they eat from my hand) and a generic tropical food (for a few of the other fish in there, but they eat it anyway)

Nice fish,oh & scotch on th rocks please
Very nice oscars Kitty ! They are a very personable fish and lots of fun to keep.
What size tank is that you have them in though ? It looks like a 29....if so, then you'll be needing something larger in a very short time. Oscars can grow to over 12 inches...and some folks will tell you that not even a 55 is large enough for just one oscar.
Just gotta love that fish !! :D

wow, that must be a worst picture than I thought! that tank is a 110! of course there isn't really anything to compare that to as far as size. Perhaps I'll get a pic of me "attempting" to gravel vac it. :dive2:

even though 110's hold enough water for 2 oscars the footprint is a bit small for 2 oscars due to the lack of swimming room IMHO i really wouldnt recommend anything smaller than a 6 foot tank oh a 125 would be good.
WOW....a 110 !!! LOL !
Guess I'm no good at eyeballing for tank size !!
