in an oscer tank (does it matter what size) do i need carbon or that anti-ammonia stuff in the filters or can i just leave sponges in there? :spam:

Carbon is certainly good. I've never found any use for the anti-ammonia chips in my tanks. If your tank is cycled well, you shouldn't need it.
Over filtration (mech and bio) is a great idea with Oscars. You simply can't have too much with those turd machines...
