I have a blue three-spot gourami thats seems very peaceful but the pet stores catogorize him as semi-aggresive(i don't agree). They call the dwarf flame gourami a peaceful community fish (i agree) but say i shouldn't put the dwarf with my three-spot. I really hope this isn't true, does anyone think you can keep a dwarf flame gourami with a three-spot? Like I say, he (the 3-spot) is very peaceful, I've never seen him nip at another fish, not once.

Gouramis in general do not like other gouramis. The 3-spot is one of the more aggressive ones. He may be OK till after you add the flame. And then may even be OK for a few weeks to a few months.
