Multis are easy to care for..
I have very soft water so I added crushed coral to the sand substrate I put in my multi tank. If you have hard water you don't need the crushed coral...but a sand substrate of some type is important.
Lots of escargot or whale eye shells too. You can look them up on ebay. Sometimes you can find a really good deal on a batch there. I have seen a 24 count of the escargot type shells for about 11$ from time to time there. I just recieved a shipment of 75+ whale eye shells that I payed only about 12$ for including the shipping.
As far as feeding...mine do well on regular flake food. I've tried offering them other things, but they prefer the flakes. Feeding a couple of small feedings a day rather than one bigger feeding also works better for them. It's good for the fry you will certainly get as well.
The less you mess with thier tank the better they like it. No major big water changes all at once. More frequent smaller water changes work better for them, though they aren't a "dirty" fish.....I have read on some shellie forums that a once a month water change is good enough...but I do more than that....I have noticed though, that thier tank doesn't seem to need cleaning as often as the other tanks I have. But I do have mine in a 20long....the 10 will most likely need more frequent cleanings than my 20.
Any fry you will get don't need any special care from you at all. The parents do all the work and the fry live off of thier scraps. Just watch and enjoy !
Great choice for that 10, good luck with them Pace ! Share some pics if you can when you get the tank all set up !
