I moved the Green Umbee into the 300 gallon tank by themselves. There are three of them in together with four large (10") Silver Barb dithers. Jeff Rapps was up for a visit Saturday and looked at the fish. His opinon was that I have two males and one female in the tank. ONe fish is noticeably smaller (female). Both males seem to be jockying for position. Recently I added some Peat Moss into the large filter to soften the water. Shortly after a large water change they went into breeding dress. It is amazing how quickly they shift colors. Literally seconds from this...

Lots of flaring and posturing for position. I have two large strawberry pots in the tank. Neither of the larger fish seem to know which they prefer. One will venture out and swim by the other pot only to be chased...more flaring...then they change pots. All the while the female is hovering in the middle.
This guy keeps peeking into the side of th other post. You can make out the tip of the other Umbee in the upper hole of the pot.
The female in the bottom left patiently (?) awaiting her mate.
