i have CICHLIDS!!!! - now with pictures!

well....i finally have some africans! :bday:
i got 6 little guys...i'll get pics and info later!

thanks for all your help!

well....this afternoon i tested the water
not one thing budged:

PH 7.8 (i did the test wrong yesterday.... :clap: )
ammonia: o
nitrate: 10
nitrite: 0
kh: 5

all of them are swimming around....and ate some bloodworms this morning :joe:

here are a couple.....very horrible pictures

Just some advice however, cut out the bloodworms. Most mbuna are algea grazers, so should have a mostly herbiverous diet. I would feed spirulina based flake food as a staple, and augment this with a vegetarian biased frozen food several times per week (green Life Line, Emerald Entree, Formula Two.......)

oh......and i also have TetraCichlid mini granules food that i fed them......is this alright?

ok...figured it out
i can feed them cichlid pellets....and brine shrimp...just not bloodworms right?

and they are mbuna....i guess i should have read that post above huh?
