What product do you all use to cement/glue your pieces of baserock together. I know Ive seen threads about this before but i just can't remember the right product to use.

ps; if whoever feels compelled to respond would mind telling me how long to clamp the pieces of LR together and let the glue cure, that would be appreciated too!

Go to your LFS and ask them if they have an epoxy to glue base rock for aquariums. Thats what I did. The epoxy usually is a stick in a plastic tube. Make sure your rock is dry if using base rock. You usually have to knead it together as there is another layer in the middle of the epoxy that has a chemical reaction when combined with the outer layer. Mend the pieces together and add to your rock and you should be good to go.

Has anyone used anything from ye ol' home depot??? My local fish stores dont have anything for adhesives.

yup - aquarium safe silicone. home depot has it. i've used it to glue rocks together, but only dry base rock, because it needs 30-50 hours to cure before it gets wet - otherwise it'll polute your tank and cause all sorts of issues, including death...

You could try zip ties or something like that if you have rocks withs holes in, i have never glued rocks as i didn't want to 1. polute the tank 2. cure the glue dry causing die off
