i'm concerned about my zig zag spiny eel. about five years old in a heavily planted 90 gal tank. it has doubled in girth in the last two weeks with a bilge by the anal opening. dont know the sex but is this a female carrying eggs? or is this a serious bacterial infection? its swiming ok and doesn't seem to be displaying any obvious signs of illness. i would greatly appreciate any ideas or input.
