Couple of questions...

Any recommendations on complete systems. I'm interested in getting everything except the tank in one package. I kinda liked the one from floridadriftwood.com but was waiting to hear any opinions.

Does anyone know about any laws in Manhattan about having CO2 tanks in apartment buildings? I have tried a carbo-plus and a hagen DIY sytem at the same time, (I know I could have bought a pressurized for the same money!), with my PH never going below 7 and a KH of 4-5. My carbo-Plus has only been running for about 2 weeks and it's totally encrusted in the calcium(?) deposits. I must admit I'm kinda lazy...and also very busy to be looking for the the best deal on individual parts. I'm OK with spending between 200-300$.

Sorry to change the subject but I just remembered one other question off topic. What's a good prefilter for the intake on a canister filter? My Fluval 404 is getting clogged up with plant matter.

Well thanks for reading this longwinded post.

The JBJ co2 regulator seems to be a very complete package, with regulator, needle valve and solenoid for 100 dollars or so. Check it out on ebay.

This is, by far, the least expensive system that I've seen anywhere. I just ordered the regulator and CO2 air line from them. See what you think.

So any opinions on the system from floridadriftwood.com? Also, do you use a pre-filter on the canister intake?
