I bought an aquarium decoration to add to my tank, and after washing and rinsing it out I caught a whiff of what smelled to me like uncured epoxy. (I've used two-part epoxy a lot and am familiar with that smell.)
I set it aside to see if it clears up, but even after several days and as many washings if I sniff at one of the holes in the underside I can clearly smell it.
Anyone else come across something like this? I'm probably going to return it, but thought I'd see if this is common or I just got 'lucky'. It's NOT going into my tank.
It's a Top Fin Decoration from Petsmart if that helps at all.
