Ok, now this is weird. I thought I had my aiptasia problem removed, but I didn't. That's not the problem and or question. I also have a Florida Pink Tip anemone, and when I came home today, he was shriveled up and looked dead, but he was still moving. When I got a look at his mouth there was an aiptasia in it. 2 questions, do they normally eat aiptasia, and 2 do they shrivel up when they are eating?

Im not sure about the first question but I have seen mine shrivel up and expel stuff from its mouth and about 8 hours later, it looks back to normal.

1. No.
2. Yes, they close up, but not for very long.

Could the aiptasia been a bail out and randomly wound up on the anemone? Perhaps it was behind a rock and not noticeable during the erradication.
