Need help with ProClear MPS-150 Skimmer

Does anyone know how to adjust this things.
I have a 1 week old tank setup with a ProClear 125 w/d and the MPS-150 skimmer. The problem I am having is that when I open the skimmer air value fully I get so much foam that it blow the top off the skimmer. I'd like some suggestion on setting this up right..

did you figure it out?

I was wondering if you got your skimmer tunned ok? I just bought the proclear 150 and I'm having the same problems. can you give me any advice on what you've ended up doing?
 
can u not open the air valve fully? perhaps only open it half way if u can. i dont have this skimmer and i dont mean to sound like a smart *** im just curious.
