I have a planted tank holding about 120g - 130g of water occupied by a 6" spotted sailfin pleco. Id love to raise a pair of discus in this tank with some tetras. I have no experience with discus and im concerned about the amount of waste the salfin produces. I know water quality is of upmost importance with these fish so would it be unwise to house them together?

I had a beautiful sail fin and a common in my tank. They were totally peaceful until I added my discus, then they slowly developed a taste for discus slimecoat. I hated to do it but I took them to a LFS and they put them to good use in a few large tanks. I never would have believed the hype about them sucking on fish if I hadn't seen it every day with my own eyes.
