Hi I just obtained a new 29 gallon tank and moved my Red eye tetras over from my 10 Gallon. It has been about a week and a half now and the only fish in there that seem to be having a problem are my Red eye tetras( they are in there with: 1 Dojo Loach, 2 Blue rams, 6 ADF's, 3 Neon tetras, 2 Cory Cats). The problem is that their fins seem to be going red, is this a common illness or are they breeding colours or what? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

PS Ph is 7, temperature is 77

read up on these fish at www.fishprofiles.com to check on the breeding idea

they check the articles section of this forum for disease help

if you figure out that it is infact a disease then post again with the diseases you suspect, and if possible a picture and we'll go from there

I checked your link and it doesn't seem to have any information other than that they are egg breeders. I don't have a camera so I am sorry I can not get a pick of the condition up. Thing is they eat more then any other fish in the tank, they are still very active so it is not like they are acting sick.

it seems your fish are settling in well to their now larger home!

the idea was for you to look into the breeding color variations

so if that site didn't have it. . .keep looking at others- if you use the links on that page this and others you'll be able to find it somewhere-

the point of this website is not for us to do all the research for you
