We have 130 gal mini reef, established about 10 years. When our racoon butterfly died a few months ago, we found a couple of pretty little anemonies, white tips and red center. Then a dozen, then hundreds. They were on every rock surface you could see. we didn't want to get another raccoon as they also like to eat hard corals and limited what we could keep in the mini reef.
We took out all the rocks yesterday, upsetting our engineer gobie greatly, and treated the little buggers with Joes Juice. This morning I could not find any live Majanos, and everyone else looked healty, happy and hungry.
We used up all the Joes Juice, and I just ordered more this morning, in case we ever see another one of the nasty little guys.
