removing paint from aquarium

I have an aquarium with blue paint on the back (ugly )
any helpfull hints to remove it or just a scraper and elbow grease
also what type paint would you use to repaint it ??

What type of paint was used to paint it?

Try a hair dryer on high, but don't hold it too close to the glass or you will short it. If it's acrylic it will soften and you'll be able to peel most of it off. Otherwise you'll have to scrape it.

Use acrylic to repaint. It's easier to get off.

i went ahead and got just a black background for it instead of repainting it when im done ..i have some more questions but think ill start a new thread
