My bala

!!Just a few pics. of my biggest bala, hes about 5-6 inches from nose to tip of tail. There is a serpae tetra to his left in the middle picture, and hes next to a cory in the bottom pic.
yeah they are a great fish,
i currently have three, foot or so long ones in my 90 gal they cruise ariound slowly and every thing else runs for cover when they go past them,
i have never had them eat anything exept guppie fry that i personaly put in there for them. they dominate one end of the tank and a pair of fully grown angles have the other end

I would say he is about a year and a half or so, at least I've had him for that long. No name for him!! :laugh: Its funny though, I think is growth is going side to side instead of long, he is really fat...Gumby, how long have you had yours? How big were they when you got them? Mine was about the size of a scissortail when I got him so hes grown quite a bit. I have a second one that is almost as big as the one in the pics, and 3 more that are pretty small still.

some guy had bought them and had promised to pick them up the next day, and he didnt come at all and still hasnt, my girl freind works there and bought them home for me after about 3 weeks,
she told the boss hte guy had come pick them up, cool girl very coolgirl..
