I have a problem with what looks like dropsy and either neon tetra disease or tb moving through my tank since adding Eco-Complete substrate about 6 weeks ago. Honestly, I think I'm grasping at straws here, but I don't know what else to check for. My tank remained perfectly cycled after the substrate addition. I currently check the major parameters only, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph with AP freshwater master tests. I will be talking to my trusted LFS about this all tomorrow, but it occured to me that maybe I need to check other things like kh & gh, etc., now. Has anyone used Red Sea Deluxe Fresh Lab, or what do you use to test your more serious planted tanks?
