gold stripe maroon clown breeding question

hi im new here, and i would like to know if theres possibility i can breed a pair of gold stripe maroon clowns in a 5 gallon tank using only a sponge filter?

i saw a pair of percula clowns at my local petshot laying eggs in a 5 gallon
tank, so im assuming it might work for maroons. i need great tips to clown fish breeders here before i order my pair of maroons

cant be done, maroons get way too big for a 5 gal. They can grow up to 6 inches.

IMO no clowns are suitable for a 5g least of all the larger more agressive maroon clowns, chances of a clown fish spawning are greatly reduced in a small aquarium with inadequete filtration.
