if i use a crown tail betta male for breeding, are all the frys later will be the same type? or betta fish goes with diffrent types after theyre born?

umm i dont know the generic backgrounds of the pair, but the male is a veil tale betta (common betta), but someone told me that i better use a corwn tail male for breeding than a common beta, would that be better? that way i will have better frys?

ya it would, but are you trying to sell the offspring or pick the pretiest one and *give away* the rest?

well i will try to sell some and give away some, so should i run to my local pet place and grab a better male? other than crown tail, what would be the best male spieces to use?

Veil tales arent considered a specialty betta anymore ...there not even allowed at betta shows! ...I would get the Crown if your looking to sell.

ok im gonna go today and grab a better male, my female is red so for those veterans here, what color should i get? and what speices? crown tail, delta, etc.?

once i use a crowntail, will my frys mostly crowntail too when they grow up?

Honestly its really hard to say, but in my breeding experience the female trait tended to be dominanet over the male....If you want a good selling betta I would go with:

1. Female Crown
1. Male Crown

What I normally breed is:
1. Crown Male
2. Double Tail Female

Ive had some great looking fish come from this. You get the crown look with the double tail fin.

An example would be like having two white parents, and they have a black child. Its all in the blood lines.....
