I have a some what similar set up...Looks nothing like that, but works the same way...

One of our LFSs has one like that. Never any fish in it, tho.

I was watching BadBoys2 the other day and saw somthing that is also cool.
This guy had a counter, and on top of that counter would be a metal bar, kinda like a shower curtain bar. And hanging from it was some glass balls about 1gal each? And it had bettas in it.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a betta, it was a goldfish, and it wasnt one gallon, it was way less. I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about, it was the scene when marcus was trippin on the x and he was looking around their boss's house, right?

no!! those little things are way to small for a betta
