Hi what are my options when stocking my 55 gallon? Maybee some examples? I wana start with just a few because my tank isnt cycled but ill be keeping a close eye on the water untill its cycled. Dont take long to do a quick 50% Change. Thanks for the help in advance Also im going to get aragonite for my gravel. would 40 lbs be ok? What should be my 1st group of fish?

I dont think 50# would do it, I could be wrong but I think you may want to get another 15 or something. So far I can tell that you want to have cichlids because one, you posted in the cichlid forum and 2, you used aragonite as your substrate. Which leads me to believe you want a rift lake cichlid of a sort. The first thing i would recomend doing is taking the time to fnd out whether you would rather have lake tang ( I prefer) or lake Malawi. I, and others will be able to help you much more from there
