Hey everyone,

Need some advice! I went out to take a look at a 200 gallon tank in response to an ad but it is badly scratched along the front and sides (can't flip it due to drilled holes etc.). Does anyone know how I might be able to fix it up to minimize the damage?

Thanks!

Depends on how deep the scratches are. Autoglass repair specialists use cerium oxide paste as a grinding medium (I should say buffing medium; the stuff if a very fine, persistent grit that holds up well in that application).

You also have to consider where the scratches are. If they are on tempered plate, I'd consult someone with real glass repair expertise.
