I just add 3 oto's to my 29. Is it normal for them to clamp their fins when they are just sitting there? Their fins are extended like normal when they swim.

What are some good veggies to feed them? (how about spinich?)

Do they normally chase other fish? I have noticed that some fish chase around new fish when they are added to the tank, but in this case one of the oto's (the smallest one, about 3/8 inch) started chasing a zebra danio that was 4 times his size.

I know they should be kept in groups, but are they actually schooling fish, or do they just like each others companies?

Thanks!

Yes.

I understand blanched zucchini is a popular choice. Mine seem content with algae and dead/dying leaves from my plants.

Mine did when they were small. As they got older they mellowed. They never did any damage at all, though.

IME, otos seem to be part-time grouping fish. For example, I look in the tank and see five otos practically right next to each other. Five minutes later, three have moved elsewhere and the remaining two are six inches apart. Later, they're all apart from each other. Then I'll see four on the same sword leaf. They definitely are more active when kept in groups.
