I have what I think is a Red Devil cichlid. He is huge. Lately he's stopped eating and just floats around. He used to be very agressive but now he just comes to the glass and just stares at you. he was on pellets and I tried blood worms today. But doesn't seem to have any intrest in those either. This thing is Larger than my hand. And needs to eat we need help.

How long have you had this fish? What size is your tank and do you have other fish in it? Do you know what your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate amounts are? I ask all of these questions so that we can determine what is wrong with your fish.

I have had him about 2 years a friend gave him to me there is also another fish with him I belive he is an african he is kinda purple with black fins. He always hides. We tried awhile back to add more fish but the red devil ate them. The tank is a 35 gallon and all my levels are right. I was having an algae prob so I got these algae tabs and thats when this all started. The smaller one is in hiding all the time well ever since he has been like this the little one has come out more.
