hello ppls ive got a 30g with 1 kissing gourmai the small and chubby types i thikn it was called the ballon kissing gourmai and i also have 10 white clouds, 8neon,1 chinese agale eater and two kribs. i dont know if its overstocked or not but yea.
well the thing is when i always look at my tank every other fish in the tank is having fun ,the kribs chasing each other the white clouds and the neons zooming everywhere but one thing i noticed is my kissing gourmai just sits there aimlessly just sitting there looking around and maybe move a inch and kiss some agale i know he hasent got any infection or somthing like that but maybe i should add another one? or would it be a bit overstocked because hes so lonely and whats the whole ponit if hes called the kisser and has no one to kiss :(

He's got a balloon kisser, they're a dwarf version of a Kissing Gourami, grow to around 4" or so. However, temperament-wise they are just like full sized Kissers.

I hope you are going to get it its own tank, kill_a_watt?

Just do some research on balloons and regular kissers and what you come up with. I do know they can be aggressive, but dunno how badly.

I also think the kissing behavior is an aggressive behavior, not a playful one. Gourami's are not very active fish anyway, particularly when compared with your other tankmates.
