OH GOOD LORD!!! I didn't need my personal thread...I bet others have good stories out there too...here goes..you have to listen to the whole story tho..

I met this guy when I went with a girlfriend to a party at his apt. We were best buddies in college, and she had a steady boyfriend but would enjoy a little extracurricular activitiy now and then, so this was all her fault in the first place.
She was hitting on him, and I started doing so too and was successful in diverting his attention...he got my number..we started dating. He was older, had been married and divorced in his late 20's. I was..oh..probably 20. At first it was flattering..this guy wanted me around all the time, stay at his apartment..be home waiting for him, etc.
He worked with my friend that I went to his party with, and he would tell me things she would supposedly say about me to him at work, and they weren't particularly nice. We'd go out for the evening and he'd make comments to his friends about how much better off he was becasue he didin't have to try to pick up someone....his car was a station wagon that he had a mattress in teh back and called it his "procreation wagon".
I knew he had a hx of smoking pot, and that was something I did not want to deal with and told him it was pot or me. He said no big deal..he'd quit. So I'm over there cooking supper and what do I find but a bag stashed in a kitchen drawer and it wasn't oregano. The comments he made that my friend was supposedly saying about me got more extreme, and something just didn't sound right. I'd not been in contact with her, becasue she had been miffed that I swiped him from her...even tho she had a boyfriend...and this guy had most of my spare time occupied.
So..one night I called her to talk about some stuff he said. It was one of those times when you have to really think who means more to you. This girl and I had been best friends for a couple of years and I dodn't want to loose her as a friend.
Well guess what...the scum had been lying to me about what she was saying about me...and had been lying to her about things I had supposedly been saying about her. Well over a few drinks we devised a plan to keep him away from me, and possibley teach him a lesson. We knew he was still smoking pot and tended to be rather paranoid when he was. I told him I had to go to a study group one night...so didn't go over. We were pretty sure he's be smoking and paranoid if I wasn't there. We made up a large poster saying the game is over..hahaha, signed both our names and plastered it on his back door, knocked and ran. Sure enough by the time I got to my dorm room...my phone was ringing. I answered, and it was him...and I just repeated what was on the poster and hung up. It rang again...and I had a friend on the floor that could sound like a guy answer the phone and told him to leave me the hell alone, and hung up. Then I took the phone off the hook for the evening. The next morning my friend saw him at work, and he was in quite a state. She talked to him, and persueded him into believeing that someone paid us to pull this stunt on him...get him to fall for me and then dump him. Of course his paranoid mind believed it...
He never tried to contact me again.
The lesson to be learned: Girls...he was possessive..trying to cut me off from my friends...big warning signs for future abuse. Cut your losses and run.
Guys: never try to get between 2 strong women. it just won't happen.

Guys: never try to get between 2 strong women......or even one. Yes, my wife broke my nose once (we were having some good clean fun at the time before I messed things up...I'll leave it at that :joke: ).
