help bad fin rot!!!

Help! One of my swordtails has a nasty case of fin rot. I have been doing water changes every day and using this medication rid-ich on it. It has been a week, and she looks better some days and just as bad others. What is a good treatment to use? Also, will using medications affect my african dwarf frogs?

I don't know about the ADF's sorry. But did your fish also have ich? I assume they did since you are using rid-ich on them. If that is the case then the ich must be fully cured before I would worry about the fin rot. Daily water changes sure will help. I suggest reading the ich article in the article section of the forum. It is a good read. The salt and heat method should probably help you a lot and will probably get the healing process of those fins underway along with the fresh water from daily water changes.

Also, will using medications affect my african dwarf frogs?I have been treating one tank with anti-biotics for bacterial infection and my adf in that tank is fine. And the other tank has been treated with salt and raised temp for ich and my adf in there is fine.
