aqualight power center timer help!!!

hey everyone my buddies just purchased an aqualight timer (the dual one) and we cant figure it out. Now i may just be stupid or maybe not. We cant figure out how to get the actinics to turn on before the daylight! They both turn on and off at the same time. There plugged into the right spot. Does it have to do something with the aqua pods light wiring? Which i dont see how since there both ran on seperate cords and you can unplug them to have one on and one off? Only thing i can think of that we didnt try is does the actinic top timer have to have the manual control swith on lunar light outlets on or actinic bulbs on. We just left both timers on the timer on switch. Isnt that where it should be? And you just select the time you want actinics on with the push tabs and then off, and same with the say shift timer push tabs?

nvm every buddy. Timer works fine, the problem we were having was the aqua pod has a defect and is no being recalled. So all you people out there with aqua pods should check yours. Suppously the wiring for the lights will short out into your tank and electrify everything!!! ya not good. If you have the updated aqua pod there should be something like a white stamp in by your ballast.
