hello everyone ive got a problem with my green tiger barbs they wont eat when i bought them they where in a tank with albino tiger barbs i bought a few of them as well they are doing great but the green ones wont eat are they just getting use to the new surroundings or could there be something else wrong other then them not eating they look great

How long have you had them? how did you acclimate them to your tank?
and of course what are you feeding them?
sometimes it takes fish a day or two to adjust to new surroundings.
you could find out what they were fed prior to your purchasing them..you could be introducing new food and they haven't figured it out yet.

i had them in there bag from the store and set them in the tank for 20 minutes and then added alittle water from the tank to the bag and then let them swim out of the bag the albinos where in the same bag and doing just as well
u may be right that they just have not figured out the flake food yet they just seem to hide when ever the other fish start to eat

thanks guys for your ideas and comments im sure it will work out ive had luck with all my other types of barbs so ill just keep my eye on them and if i need to ask more questions
