Two days ago I noticed one of our Giant Danios that is in our son's tank had what appeared to be a tail end full of blood. (not the tail fin part, but the end sort of 1/4 of his body) There was nothing seeping out of him but he looked almost badly bruised. I don't quite know how to explain it. Anyway, he was eating and swimming normally and then I found him dead this morning. I'm just wondering if any of you have seen that before and what the heck would have caused that?
They were recently moved out of our 75 gallon community tank (they were driving me nuts in there) to a smaller tank that did have a small cycle, but we had seeded it with gravel/media from the 75.
