i have been to a couple pet stores here and have yet to find some...any suggestions?
im in toronto, canada.
thanks.

I collect mine from debris piles of wood that have washed down from streams and rivers after floods. I love the hunt and the pieces I find are MUCH more intersting than anything I could buy at a price I would pay.

If I had to buy it and could afford it, I would buy from here:

www.floridadriftwood.com

The stuff they sell is about as nice as the stuff I find, but expensive.

thanks all for replying... .

Off the internet:

You can collect your own as well, but just be super careful since you never know where it's been and what's living inside it. You usually have to boil collected pieces to make them safe (and sometimes to make them sink too). I wanted a fairly large piece and knew I didn't have anything big enough to boil it in, so that's why I bought online.

EDIT: Guess I was beat to it. That site has been recommended a lot around here. :thm:

i got Malaysian driftwood from Drs Fosters and Smith. It sinks right away, but you should saok it for a while if you mind your water getting tinted.
