Our daughter has been begging for a kitten for EVER! Her daddy caved in and yesterday we took her to our local Humane Society. She picked out this adorable kitten and promptly named her Suzy. Suzy will be 7 weeks old tomorrow. She is a very sweet kitten and our daughter is so totally in love with her kitten and so far is an excellent caregiver (supervised of course)

Such a sleepy little baby girl.

SO...does anyone know. Is she a calico or a tortiseshell?? She definately has three different colors.

We have two older cats Shermann(3) and Sassa(12) so Suzy is in a sort of quarintine now.

What an adorable kitty, I can see why your daughter is in love!!!! As for the calico or tortise shell - I vote calico.....

She looks like a dilute calico :)

That looks like a myfeline, meaning she is so cute she should be MINE.
Just kidding, I love kittens, cats, dogs, etc. I love animals, so much I want them all.
Looks like a domistic short hair to me, but could be wrong. To many colors to be a calico.
Kudos to you for getting her from the Humane Society.
Good luck and good love to your family........

Your new baby is a dilute calico, large amount of white with black and orange. Dilute because of the grey/blue in the face. She may also be a "point". Look at how symmetrical hr face is, but it depends on her ears and feet as well. Good luck with her.

How cute! I wish I wasn't allergic to cats, and that my husband didn't absolutely hate them.

*Sigh*

mykidmylife,

good for your for adopting that cute kitty and not buying one.

cant comment on the calico bit but congrats....

Great, my wife saw her and now she wants to get another cat. If we can find one as cute as your Suzy, we just might.

I don't think that is a tortiseshell. I have one and they tend to be much darker than that. If it is a tortiseshell, you need to be careful, they tend to hate other cats. I had to build a little house outside for mine to live in so it wouldn't spend it's life hissing at the other cats (2 of witch are her sons). She gets along fine with the dogs and is very nice to people, she just hates other cats.
