Hey guys,

Setup a new seahorse/pipefish tank with some liverock and got these little buggers on the glass. There's not too many, but they are slowly multiplying. They are approximately 3mm in diameter.

What the heck are they, and are they harmful?

I have them too...have not noticed anything evil about them... By the way, those are fantastic photos! What did you use?

Thanks! Its a Nikon D70 w/ 60mm macro :D

YoFishboy, thanks for the links I'll check them out. I just lost a pipefish due to a eye infection of some sort (couldnt see, couldnt eat). I left it (by advice) until the eye clouded over. I attempted to medicate him today but he was just too stressed I guess. :(

So I was just concerned maybe the hydroids gave him that bad eye, but it could have been some other sort of injury?
