This is the same tank I posted several weeks back, with some additions and modifications. Sadly, I couldn't get a good shot of the adult blue. As soon as he saw the red focusing light from the camera he turned on the bars and retreated. I got a little black algae at the beginning; or dark red. I think from the silicates as it's stopped now and all the new growth for the past week isn't getting any. I put a pair of rams in there about ten days ago and they've spawned already. The co2 has been on for 8 days. I'm not happy with the light out of my trusty fluorescent T10s so I ordered a set of 65w pc's totaling 520 watts. Have to find some little sunglasses for the fish. The plants are doing fantastic. Lots of pearling. The jungle val is growing like kelp. I have to cut it every 3 days or so to keep it from shading the rest of the tank.
