post? like mail?
just put them in a tupper ware and put some plants because shirimps can get motionsick from rocking too much, thats what i heard...
im not sure how long theyll last in that little sealed container because shrimps cant really survive in water with little oxygen right?

Double Bag em, with moss: get the LFS to fill the bag with O2. put the bag in a Tupperware, bag the Tupperware box; and ship it at the fastest speed; preferably one that fast tracks customs, so a courier 100%, government postal service is too slow most of the time, my guess is especially from down under… if its to the first world you should be ok if its marked as tropical aquarium fish, as some live animals have to go through quarantine. Call the customs of the receiving country; they will want certain forums… ifs its another commonwealth country iv found they are a lot less stringent for some reason. The larger the water and O2 mass per shrimp the better… good luck!
Btw how many ghosts do you have? Im in the market for 30 or so…. Just don’t want to pay $12 (can) per shrimp at the LFS..

12 dollars canadian for a ghost shrimp?! OMG your LFS is hosing you on prices. They are like $5 USD for 25 shrimps here at my LFS. I suggest finding another LFS Walker.
Australia has very restrictive and tightly written import and export regs. If international mail is involved, I'd suggest that before you find yourself fined or worse (and the libestock destroyed) you should get info and the required permits (both ways) from the govt. first

RTR is correct there, that's for sure!
I've been trying to get stuff out of Australia and New Guinea for 5 months and it's not easy.
You need a permit to ship plants as well. It's a royal pain ;)
