How does Kent Black Water Expert affect water?
Does it lower KH, affect pH?
My kh is now at 2.24 d/kh this is with 1 1/2 tablespoons of Crushed Coral added to canister filter. (this is up from the 1.12 in the tap water.) Gh is 3.36 d/gh (up also from 1.12 in tap).
pH is 7.6 at the moment (tap is 7.0 today).
I am getting ready to add CO2 in the next few days, and I know that this will affect the pH. I am aiming for at least 3 d/kh and a pH of 6.6-6.8.
