10 Gallon:
1 Paradise Gourami
2 Balloon mollies
1 Panda Cory
1 Otocinulus Catfish

I added the mollies three days ago and this morning I noticed that the mollies had chunks out of their dorsal fins. I haven't noticed any nipping, but all I can figure out is that the gourami is attacking them. If I remove the gourami and treat with Melafix, will the missing sections heal?

If someone took a chunk out of you, would you heal? Probably after you stopped bleeding and as long as it did not get infected. I would say your fish should heal on its own, as long as it does not get infected. The melafix should help. I used the product once and I personally did not have luck with it, but then again I think I used it a little too late. I have heard from a number of people that melafix is a great product. I personally do not treat fish if they are "a dime a dozen". A pet store wanted to sell me a 6 dollar medication for a 4 dollar fish. I said forget it. I treated the fish with salt and went from there. Now if you had a fish for 6 years like I have, then yes, I would buy the 6 dollar medication. Just a thought for you.
