Help!

im in the middle of an algae bloom i think?? :duh: Does anyone have any pictures of what it would look like. WHen i turn my light on, my tank has a white haze to it and looks like tons of little particles are floating around. Im not positive thats what is causing it. The water has been checking out fine. I did a 50% water change last night and it doesnt seem to help ?>> ive also stopped turning my light on in the evening and nothing seems to help. Any help would be great! thanks!

Are you sure the haze isnt tiny bubbles from your filter? My water sometimes looks cloudy and it is due to bubbles.

This sound more like a bacterial bloom, maybe a newly added fish is produc eing more ammonia. Look for any dead fish, or some uneaten food.

i agree bacterial bloom keep water changes frequent and wait it out

avoid any rotting material in the tank too like already stated

well that explains it, ive been saying algae bloom all this time and what i was thinking was bacteria bloom. so yea water changes and gravel vacs should cure this right>? thanks guys!!!
