I have an Aquaclear Mini filter on my 10 gallon tank. It sure seems to make quite a current and I was wondering if there was a simple way to slow things down any. Maybe diffuse the output or something? It is already at the minimum setting. I just don't want my poor minnows to get blown around the tank.

I use an AC200 on my 10g Q-tank turned down and it seems o.k.. Regardless, you would have to somehow (that's the tricky part) block the intake stem just above the impeller. I'm not recommending doing this. When you turn it down, you slide the intake stem over so that only part of the stem is over the impeller. If you blocked that even further, it would slow the flow even more. I'd worry about whatever you use coming free and jamming the impeller or (if this is possible) the moter overheating from lack of flow. Just my 2cents.
