i have 6 zebra danios and 1 of them has a huge belly. and she is fighting off the other danios away from her. can it be that she may be pregnant

Im sorry, but I have no idea about that part either. Any babies I have ever had from any fishies have become snackies for others.

Danios lay eggs; they aren't live bearers. So your fish may be gravid with eggs. But there's a little more that has to happen before itty bitty danios appear, if you know what I'm saying, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. 
I have one female and some very fancy tailed danios - the little female regularly lays eggs in the tank (approx every 6/8 weeks it seems).
As soon as she's finished all the mates in the tank gobble up this free food supply. I have never yet seen any young.
ps - I've had the pleasure of these manic swimmers now for nearly 2 years and there is no sign of her slowing down on the old spawning front - at least it keeps the males happy!
