View Full Version : Carnivorous snails?
so i come home from a weeks vacation to find one of my apple snails gnawing on a deceased guppy(rest her soul). two hours later it was completely gone! the snail kinda looked at me as if to say "yummy" and slinked away. is this normal behavior? it really freaks me out to think if i had come home two hours later there would have been no evidence of what transpired. anyone out there have a similar experience?

The fish is just cleaning up organic waste--an already-dead fish.
Was the guppy pregnant? I lost one once because she couldn't get some babies out. How are the other guppies?

It will be neat, you can see the bones left after the guppy is totally licked clean.
