I just wanted to give everyone an update on my sick pleco. He had a body fungus and I put him in a 10 gallon hospital tank. I treated him with Maracyn and Maracyn two. After eight days the "ball of fungus" on his fin fell off or dissolved. It was there on day and the next day it was gone. There is still a "blister" left. It is the size of the tip of a ball point pen. Bad thing is I ran out of medicine. I bought the Maracyn from a fish store over an hour away. I was frantic looking for medicine. Well I didn't find any Maracyn for freshwater so I bought Jungle's Fungus Clear: Tank Buddies. It cures almost all of the illnesses the Maracyn does, and you treat every four days instead of everyday. I just want my pleco to get better again so he can go back into the 90 gallon tank. I am going to treat for at least a week after all of the fungus is gone. The only problem is now is that part of his fin where the fungus was looks like it is gone. Has anyone else ever had experience with body fungus?

I've purchased those before because I have had pretty good luck with other Jungle products...but those didn't seem to cure anything..so you might want to keep a close eye on your fish.
I have been keeping a really close eye on him and the remaining "blisters" on his fin. It just makes me mad that there really isn't a LFS closer than over an hour away. I am just hopeing that the Fungus Clear will clear up the rest of the fungus.
