How long has the tank been up and running? Size? Filtration? Did you bring media over from an existing set up?

I would monitor until very sure the cycle is done.

I think he means you know when you just fill the tank and test it its all at 0. I think that's what he means. You need amonia to start all that then you bring it back down to 0 you can buy stuff to speed up this process. Go into the article section and read the article about cycling a new tank

Guess I didn't say it well Kody....but yes, is it a new set up Sharpie? I couldn't pull up the link on cycling to copy it in the message and I believe Sharpie has some tanks set up recently unless I misunderstood previous threads.

Thanks for postin the links rbishop I'm not on the comp right now so I couldn't post um. I don't think I have read any of his other post. Sharpie when you reply please make sure to answer the questions from rbishops first post so we can help you out ;)

yes plants will help if you have an extra filter eathier run it with the new filter on the tank or put the new filter on an old tank
