Anyone ever try to mix the 2?

I know mine eat GS though it takes sometime since the GS seem to be good hiders. I was just wondering if Cherrys might not be as appetizing to them.

If they are I guess I could breed them in the 20 gallon and use them as feeders.

In either case anyone have any for sale?

edit: As not to use up forum space I'll ask this here also

I have a Ctenopoma acutirostre that I bought but its pretty small so I was afraid to add him to the tank, he is in my 20 gallon with snails and shrimp. He is about 1.5 -2 inches long.

How big should I let him get before adding him?

Yup, cherry shrimp are toast.

How big is your senegal?

I figured all shrimp were food.

The senegals are 6 and 5 inches long.

I'm more interested in if the Ctenopoma acutirostre can be added now. I have a clown his size in there already and they don't mess with him, but he is pretty active. The Ctenopoma acutirostre tends to be pretty stationary and I don't know that it would be a target.

Well, ctenopoma are pretty tall fish, i have a 4-5" one in with 12+" endlicheris and they haven't tried to eat it yet.

I'd try to grow it out a little more before adding it, 1.5-2" is pretty tiny and wouldn't be too hard to mouth
