I have city water that is only moderatly hard if that(I had sears check the hardness and they came up with 3 grains per gal)I don't know how that relates to gh dh and any other -h's there are.
anyway I use AquaSafe for the clorine and it is supposed to deal with the amonia released and any heavy metals.
I usually change 2 gallons in my 20 every 4 days. If it has been more than a week I change 4 gallons
now here is the question. say I havent changed water in 10 days so I do a 4 gallon change. now all the fish(list in link below) are happy, no problems. I think changing water is good, so 4 days later, back on schedule, I change 4 gallons not 2. when I change 4 in these circumstances some minor portion of my angel's fins will wilt or apear to rot.
when I change more water more often the angel apears to suffer, although none of the other fish apear affected. I thought changing water is good so what is going on here???
is my AquaSafe not doing all it says? or is there another posible explanation.
I dont see this as a big problem but just a real stumper
