I am pretty sure I have Ich/Ick in my tank. I started treatment with Quick Cure 5 days ago as i saw little wite specks all over a clown loach since then it has spread to my other loach and to my spotted catfish. othe fich seem fine but should this spread during treatment?

can you explain exactly what you are doing for treatment?

did you remove carbon
raise temp?
have you been treating everyday as directed?

I've used Jungle Ick Guard once before, and found it quite effective. It specifies a 25% water change every 24 hours. Doesn't the stuff you're using mention water changes on the packaging?

I've also heard that adding salt during treatment helps, but I've been given conflicting opinions on this, and I think it depends on the type of fish. Don't add salt until someone with more experience than me confirms or denies this!

Good luck!

I would stop the quick cure, do a 75% water change, and then start salt+ heat treatment.

I've used this treatment on clown loaches with no loss of life>

From my understanding regular salt should work ok. Never tried i though as aquarium salt is just as cheap as regular.

Depending on how much salt you put in the snails might be ok, but snails do not like salt generaly.
