I woke up this morning to find that 4 of my tetras had moved on to the summerland...
Lost 3 Glass Bloodfins & 1 Serpae.
I immediately checked water params, everything is as should be. All other fish are doing fine, so no worries there.
I know the fish were soon to depart as they're all about 5 years old but I was in shock that 4 would go at once like they did.
I guess now it's a waiting game for the other Geriatric Tetras to move on to the ethereal plane of existance.
My remaining Geriatric tetras include:
3 Blackskirts,
3 Lemons, (only about 3-4 years old)
1 Glowlight,
Also have a 5 year old Clown Loach, but I understand that they can live up to 15 years so not too worried about him.
Perhaps we should have a support group for when we lose our "Long Time Fishy Friends" to old age!
